Springfield Cardinals Front Office Shakeup: Meet the New Leadership Team for 2026! (2026)

The Springfield Cardinals, a Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, are gearing up for an exciting 2026 season with a series of strategic Front Office changes. This move is set to revolutionize the team's operations and fan experience, marking a significant step forward in their journey. 'The Springfield Cardinals are thrilled to embark on the 2026 season with a dynamic Front Office team, and we're excited to recognize the hard work of several staff members with promotions,' shared Dan Reiter, General Manager of the Springfield Cardinals. 'These changes are designed to drive measurable success in the community and enhance the fan experience.'

But here's where it gets interesting. The team is promoting Angela Deke and Zack Pemberton to Vice President roles, marking a significant milestone for the organization. Angela Deke, who has been with the team since its inception in 2005, will now take on the role of Vice President of Ticket and Business Operations. In this new position, she'll continue to oversee ticket operations while serving as a senior advisor to the General Manager, leading human resources and finances, and acting as a fiduciary between the front office and food and beverage provider Delaware North.

Zack Pemberton, a Springfield stalwart entering his 17th season, steps into the role of Vice President of Ticket Sales and Marketing. This promotion not only recognizes his dedication but also expands his responsibilities to include oversight of the Marketing Department, ensuring seamless collaboration and sustained success between both departments. Pemberton will also continue working with non-profit organizations and premium ticket accounts while maintaining responsibility for selling corporate partnerships.

The team is also making strategic moves with Regina Hess, Levi Smith, Tysen Hathcock, Caleb Lasher, Dalton Baker, Sheri Hart, and Aubree Enos. Regina Hess, who started as a part-timer in 2016 and became a full-time employee in 2017, takes on the new role of Director of Marketing, overseeing marketing initiatives and working closely with ticketing and corporate sales. Levi Smith, who has been with the team for four seasons, becomes the Senior Manager of Ticket Sales, overseeing Springfield's full-time sales staff and leading RED Access Membership and group ticket initiatives.

Tysen Hathcock, who has been with the organization full-time since 2022, takes on the role of Senior Manager of Video Operations and Production, with a focus on improving the fan experience at Hammons Field. Caleb Lasher, who has been with the team since 2022, continues his duties as an Account Executive, focusing on RED Access Membership and group sales while also adding corporate sponsorships. Dalton Baker, who has been with the organization since 2024, shifts to the Operations Manager role, leading clubhouse operations, team travel, and housing, and assisting with stadium operations.

Sheri Hart, who joined the team in January 2025, transitions from Office Coordinator to Business Manager, taking on additional responsibilities in financial liaison between the club and Diamond Baseball Holdings' regional office. Aubree Enos, who joined the full-time staff this offseason after working part-time roles since 2022, brings her experience from various departments, including Box Office Associate, Gameday Ambassador, and Gameday Stringer, to the sales team.

As the defending Texas League Champion Springfield Cardinals prepare for the 2026 regular season, kicking off at home on Tuesday, April 7 against the Tulsa Drillers, fans are eagerly anticipating the changes. Before the season begins, the team will host the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday, March 23 at Hammons Field in an exhibition game titled 'Cards vs. Cards, presented by Mercy'. Fans can gain access to tickets for this exhibition game by becoming a RED Access Member.
